The trading habits of Gen Z users on Binance are changing, according to a recent report from Binance Research. In August, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) took up 25% of their equity volume, a significant increase from the 14.6% recorded in June. This trend is also evident among millennials, who directed 9.5% of their early-August equity volume towards ETFs.

Unleveraged ETFs have been gaining popularity, drawing 18.5% of Gen Z's net equity inflow in June and 21.9% in July. Meanwhile, the share of single-stock ownership has declined from 77.0% to 74.2%. The report provides valuable insights into the shifting investment preferences of younger generations.
