Gen Z Investors Rely on AI for Crypto Information as Demand for Quality Content Grows
Younger crypto investors are increasingly relying on artificial intelligence (AI) to learn about cryptocurrency, and as a result, there's a growing demand for high-quality, factual information. Bitcoin has been trading near $64,400 on July 24, 2026, after falling from an intraday high of approximately $65,700.
The challenge with crypto is not having access to information, but rather deciding which sources can be trusted. Many investors are turning to AI and online communities for information, and while this can be a useful resource, it also raises concerns about the accuracy and reliability of the information being shared.
A survey by CEX.IO found that 41% of Gen Z crypto investors rely primarily on social media and online communities for information, while 29% identified AI chatbots as a main source. This is a significant shift in how financial discovery is taking place, with information no longer moving only from companies to journalists and then to readers.
Companies that publish factual announcements, original data, security information, and useful product explanations can stand out from the crowd and establish themselves as trusted sources of information. However, it's essential for these companies to provide clear and accurate information, including dates, figures, and links to supporting company information.
