Genius Group Targets $827M Bitcoin Treasury in Ambitious Five-Year Plan
Genius Group, a Singapore-based education technology company listed on the NYSE American exchange, has announced plans to build an $827 million Bitcoin treasury over the next five years. The strategy is part of a broader $1.2 billion capital plan that combines cryptocurrency accumulation with investments in artificial-intelligence companies.
The company aims to increase total assets to $2 billion by fiscal 2031 and currently holds no active Bitcoin position after liquidating its previous treasury earlier this year. Genius plans to restart BTC accumulation during the fourth quarter of 2026, positioning Bitcoin as a balancing component alongside operating assets and an AI portfolio that will remain below 40% of total assets.
The company intends to fund the strategy primarily through perpetual preferred securities rather than conventional common-stock issuance. The $827 million target represents one of the more ambitious corporate Bitcoin accumulation plans announced this year, but it remains a financing and treasury target rather than a funded acquisition.
