Gerber Kawasaki CEO Ross Gerber Slams Saylor's Bitcoin Tactics
Ross Gerber, founder and CEO of asset manager Gerber Kawasaki Wealth, has expressed skepticism about Bitcoin due to Michael Saylor's handling of the cryptocurrency. Gerber accused Saylor of misleading the market by claiming he would never sell Bitcoin, only to later execute a sale that triggered a market downturn and forced the liquidation of speculative positions.
This is not the first time Gerber has voiced strong opinions about Saylor. In June, Gerber criticized Saylor for selling a portion of MicroStrategy's holdings, which led to a sharp price drop and triggered a cascade of liquidations in leveraged positions.
The crypto market has been particularly sensitive to large transactions in recent months, with the actions of key players like MicroStrategy holding significant sway over prices. This highlights concerns about market manipulation and volatility, as well as the concentration of Bitcoin holdings among a few large players.
