Gillen Sees Bitcoin and Ethereum as Underowned Assets
Milk Road analyst John Gillen believes Bitcoin and Ethereum are 'really underowned' assets. He notes that despite their potential, market participants should refrain from 'panic-chasing' as prices continue to rise.
Gillen pointed out that Bitcoin's volatility had dropped to historic lows before the recent surge, making it a potentially attractive investment opportunity. However, he warns against chasing current prices without confirmation of a technical bull market.
Ethereum is considered the most misunderstood asset in the market by Gillen, with its tokenization, stablecoins, and agentic AI payments concentrated within its ecosystem. He notes that Ethereum holds 65% of the tokenized real-world asset market and 52.9% of total stablecoin market cap.
Gillen is waiting for confirmation of a technical bull market before deploying his remaining cash. He suggests taking a small position to calm emotions and think more clearly about further allocation.
