Global Fintech Scene Heats Up With New Product Releases and Partnerships
This week has seen several notable product releases and partnerships across various industries.
One of the most significant announcements came from Cashi, which has introduced its Hong Kong stablecoin card in collaboration with Thredd. The card allows users to make daily purchases using their digital assets, with virtual Visa cards and Google Pay support available in Hong Kong.
In other news, Apple Pay has launched in the Philippines, enabling contactless payments using iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac devices. Supported credit and debit cards include offerings from Chinabank, GoTyme Bank, Metrobank, and UnionBank.
Kraken has also entered the scene with its cashback card, which offers up to 2% cash or bitcoin back depending on customer assets held. The Krak Card can deploy over 600 currencies and crypto types within Kraken's program.
