Global Governments Hold $26.8 Billion in Bitcoin Reserves

Government holdings of Bitcoin have reached a significant milestone, with a total of $26.8 billion in assets held by national governments worldwide.

A report from Coin Bureau highlights that 13 countries collectively hold this amount, with the United States far ahead of other nations at nearly three times their combined total.

The U.S. government's massive Bitcoin reserve is largely comprised of seized assets recovered through law enforcement operations over several years, amounting to approximately $19.8 billion based on current market prices.
