Glow: Breez's Open-Source Bitcoin Stablecoin Web App

Breez has released Glow, an open-source progressive web app that enables users to send stablecoins from their Bitcoin balance. Developed in partnership with Bitcoin Spark, the app empowers developers to build better user experiences without worrying about the complexities of building on top of Bitcoin.

Glow leverages the Passkey standard, eliminating the need for passwords and passphrases. Users can access the app on both Apple and Android stores, and it supports native Lightning payments through its Spark integration.

The app also comes with a couple of onramps from the start, allowing users to onboard to Bitcoin instantly via Cash App and MoonPay. Additionally, Glow has contacts integration, letting users save their friends' Lightning addresses as a contact, making payments more familiar and mainstream.
