GMO Financial Holdings, a Japanese financial services company, reported strong earnings for its fiscal year 2026 second quarter. The company's consolidated operating revenue reached ¥29.54 billion (approximately $186.5 million), up 9.9% from the same period last year.

The growth was driven by commodity CFD trading value of ¥4.3 trillion (approximately $27.1 billion), which increased by 13%, and related revenue of ¥4.3 billion (approximately $27.1 million), surging 79.1%. Financial income also hit a record high of ¥1.87 billion, up 56.2% year-on-year.

The company's Securities & FX segment accounted for 88% of operating revenue, while the Crypto Asset business made up just 7%. However, despite lower revenue and profit due to a decline in Bitcoin prices, GMO Coin maintained its market share at 21.1%

GMO Financial Holdings raised its annual dividend forecast to ¥57.04 per share, reflecting the earnings upside. The company also aims to compress Thailand receivables by year-end.
