A Solana-based token called GOLD collapsed in value by about 99% after wallets linked to Lookonchain sold off a large portion of their holdings.

The developer of the token, Real Trump Coins, denied launching or authorizing the token and blamed its promotion on 'third-party bad actors.'

According to Lookonchain, the developer held 600 million GOLD tokens while 15 new wallets bought an additional 224.5 million tokens.

The team currently controls 82.45% of the total supply, Lookonchain warned.
