Golden Cross Forms on Bitcoin's Daily Chart Amid Bullish Optimism
The Bitcoin price has flashed a golden cross signal on its daily chart, a bullish indicator that has analysts optimistic about the end of the bear market.
The golden cross forms when a shorter-term moving average crosses above a longer-term one, and this is the first such crossover since November 2025. Historically, this setup has preceded significant rallies in Bitcoin's price.
However, analysts at BloFin note that critical confirmation is still missing to confirm a lasting trend reversal. They argue that traders must wait for Bitcoin to reclaim its 50-week moving average (MA), which has repeatedly separated major recoveries from temporary relief rallies in the past.
The 200-week MA has been a significant level for Bitcoin, with the asset's lowest prices in a cycle generally forming around it. In this cycle, Bitcoin fell below the 200W MA and stayed there while the market absorbed deleveraging events, including the FTX collapse.
