Goldman Sachs Backs XRP with $86.5 Million Across Five Separate ETFs
Goldman Sachs has re-entered the XRP market, according to its latest Form 13F filing with the SEC. The bank reported holding $86.5 million across five spot XRP ETFs as of June 30.
This is a significant increase from earlier this year when Goldman completely liquidated its XRP ETF position after holding a $153.8 million stake built up in Q4 2022. Instead of piling into one fund, Goldman distributed its capital across five separate XRP ETF products, with the Bitwise XRP ETF accounting for roughly $25.76 million of the total allocation.
Goldman's move comes as part of a larger trend of institutional investment in XRP ETFs. JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America also disclosed XRP ETF positions in their respective filings for the same period.
