Goldman Sachs Dominates Institutional XRP ETF Holdings Amid Ongoing Inflows
Goldman Sachs has made a significant move into spot XRP ETFs, increasing its exposure by approximately $83 million this quarter. This brings the company's total stake to around $87.4 million, making it the largest institutional holder of spot XRP ETFs.
The report highlights that Goldman Sachs' stake is much larger than other major institutional names, including Jane Street Group, Millennium Management, Intesa Sanpaolo, and Marex UK Holdings. The combined exposure of these four companies does not reach Goldman Sachs' $87.4 million.
Spot XRP ETFs have seen steady inflows since their launch, with total net inflows approaching $1.8 billion. Despite ongoing inflows, XRP's spot price has been struggling to stay above $1.40, dropping to around $1.37 by September 1.
Technical analyses are now pointing to $1.35 as an important support zone in the short term, highlighting the tension between institutional demand through ETFs and general macro conditions that are limiting upside for XRP's spot price.
