Goldman Sachs Loads Up on $86.5M in XRP ETFs Amid Crypto Surge
Goldman Sachs' reported exposure to XRP ETFs has grown significantly as XRP delivered its strongest weekly performance in two years, according to a recent 13F filing.
The banking giant's Q2 holdings in five spot XRP ETFs were valued at $86.5 million, but the estimated current value following XRP's subsequent gains is around $113.7 million, representing an increase of approximately 31% from the initial figure.
This exposure doesn't necessarily indicate that Goldman Sachs bought additional shares; rather, it reflects the appreciation in value of their existing position as the underlying assets rose in price.
The disclosure highlights Goldman's meaningful investment in regulated XRP products, further underscoring institutional interest in crypto amid increasing adoption by major financial institutions like Morgan Stanley.
