Goldman Sachs Rebuilds Solana ETF Position After Initial Sell-Off
Goldman Sachs, one of Wall Street's most prominent financial institutions, has rebuilt its position in Solana ETFs. According to Pluang, Goldman disclosed $88.1 million in spot Solana ETF holdings as of June 30, 2026, after completely selling off its Solana ETF positions in Q1 2026.
This marks a strategic rebalancing of the bank's altcoin ETF portfolio, alongside a similar rebuild in XRP ETF exposure. Goldman uses regulated ETFs to gain crypto exposure without holding actual tokens, treating them like other asset classes.
The next 13F filings will reveal if Goldman maintains or increases these positions again. The move suggests that Goldman is re-evaluating its investment strategy and adjusting its portfolio accordingly.
