Goldman Sachs Reclaims Top Spot as Largest XRP ETF Holder Amid Price Surge
Goldman Sachs has re-entered the XRP ETF market and reclaimed its position as the largest holder, according to recent SEC filings. The Wall Street giant's latest disclosure reveals it holds $86.50 million in total position across multiple XRP ETFs, including Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, Canary, and 21Shares.
The investment firm's significant exposure comes as the price of XRP surges, up 40% this week amid growing institutional inflows. The spot XRP ETFs saw net inflows of $13.24 million on Thursday, with Bitwise and Franklin recording notable gains of $9.9 million and $3.34 million respectively.
Goldman Sachs' holdings in XRP ETFs have increased, with 2,208,949 shares held in Bitwise, 2,238,407 shares in Franklin's XRPC, and 1,759,090 shares in Canary's XRPC. The company also disclosed 365,976 XRPN shares in Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings' SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp II.
