Goldman Sachs Regains Top Spot Among XRP ETF Holders with $86.5 Million Stake
Goldman Sachs has re-entered the market as a major player in XRP ETFs, reclaiming its position as the largest disclosed institutional holder of these funds.
The Wall Street giant's Q2 2026 disclosure with the U.S. SEC shows it holds $86.5 million across five XRP-linked products from various issuers, including Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Canary Capital, 21Shares, and Grayscale.
Goldman Sachs had previously exited these funds in the previous quarter but has now increased its share count in several of these products.
The latest quarterly filing shows that Goldman's largest holding is in Franklin Templeton's XRPZ with 2,238,407 shares, followed by Bitwise XRP ETF with 2,208,949 shares.
Other notable holdings include Canary's XRPC with 1,759,090 shares and TOXR with 806,126 shares. Goldman also disclosed a smaller position in Grayscale's GXRP fund with 377,619 shares.
