Goldman Sachs Snaps Up NEOS Investments for Crypto-Linked ETF Dominance
Goldman Sachs is set to become one of the largest ETF providers in the world after acquiring NEOS Investments for $2.25 billion.
The deal will give Goldman Sachs control over three income-focused crypto ETFs tied to Bitcoin and Ethereum, including the Neos Bitcoin High Income ETF (BTCI), Boosted Bitcoin High Income ETF (XBCI), and Ethereum High Income ETF (NEHI).
BTCI is currently the largest of these funds, with assets under management exceeding $1 billion.
The acquisition will also see Goldman Sachs become the world's eighth-largest ETF provider after combining its own ETFs with those managed by NEOS Investments. The total assets under management are expected to exceed $130 billion.
