GoMining Unveils GoBTC Pay: Instant Fee-Free Transactions on the Bitcoin Network
GoMining CEO Mark Zalan believes that Bitcoin's spending problem is about to be solved. The company has developed GoBTC Pay, a protocol that allows for instant and fee-free transactions on the base layer of the Bitcoin network.
The average transaction fee on the network was as high as $128.45 in April 2024 but has since dropped to just $0.36 in August 2026, making it more viable for merchants to use Bitcoin for everyday payments.
GoMining's GoBTC Pay protocol settles transactions directly on the Bitcoin base layer through the company's own 15 EH/s Stratum V2 mempool, eliminating the need for intermediaries and reducing fees to just 0.2% of the transaction value.
This fee is split between the wallet or institution that brought the customer into the network and the miners who confirmed the transaction.
