Google's AI Platforms Cite Crypto News Sites Four Times Less Often Than ChatGPT

A recent study by ICODA, a growth marketing agency for Web3 and iGaming brands, has found that Google's AI platforms Overviews, AI Mode, and Gemini cite crypto news sites significantly less often than other AI systems.

The research measured the citation frequency of 40 crypto news domains across six AI platforms: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, Overviews, AI Mode, and Gemini.

According to ICODA's data, Google's AI platforms collectively cited these sites four times less often than ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok combined. This disparity raises questions about the potential bias in Google's algorithms against crypto news sources.
