Governments Can't Stop Bitcoin's Global Growth, Saylor Says
Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor reiterated his conviction that governments can influence Bitcoin adoption but cannot prevent its global growth. He argued that regulatory decisions may either accelerate or delay adoption in individual countries, but ultimately cannot halt the growth of a decentralized network.
Saylor emphasized that governments possess significant influence over how quickly Bitcoin is adopted within their borders. Favorable regulation can encourage innovation, investment, and broader participation, while restrictive policies may slow adoption temporarily.
He pointed out that no government can completely eliminate Bitcoin because the network operates independently through decentralized infrastructure distributed across the world. This decentralized structure remains one of the technology's most important features, allowing control to be distributed throughout the network.
