Grayscale-Backed Hyperliquid Forum Brings Institutional Players to Singapore
The Hyperliquid Forum, taking place on October 6 at Singapore's Raffles Hotel, will bring together institutional investors and experts in the crypto space for a full-day summit. The event is co-hosted by Grayscale, HyperLink, and Hyperliquid itself, with over 120 attendees from 95 firms across 16 countries expected to participate.
The forum will focus on topics such as custody risk, liquidity at scale, and regulatory frameworks for on-chain derivatives. As a decentralized perpetuals exchange, Hyperliquid has been handling hundreds of billions in monthly trading volume without gas fees, making it an attractive option for large traders.
Grayscale's involvement is significant, as the asset manager has filed for ETF products related to HYPE tokens, which would give traditional investors exposure to these yields through a regulated wrapper. This move reflects Grayscale's growing interest in altcoins and on-chain derivatives.
