Grayscale Demands CLARITY Act Vote Before August Recess
Grayscale is urging Senate leaders to pass the CLARITY Act before the August recess on July 31, warning that delay threatens U.S. competitiveness in digital assets.
The company argues that prolonged regulatory uncertainty has subjected digital asset businesses to enforcement actions without an established federal framework governing market participation.
Grayscale's Chief Legal Officer Craig Salm framed the request as an immediate test of congressional commitment to comprehensive digital asset legislation, saying 'We urge the Senate to bring the CLARITY Act to a floor vote before Congress departs for the August recess.'
The company also highlighted that defined standards would protect investors, encourage responsible innovation, and reduce incentives for companies and skilled workers to relocate abroad.
