Grayscale Edges Closer to Launching First U.S. Zcash ETF
Grayscale has filed its fifth amendment to the SEC application for the first U.S. Zcash ETF, bringing it closer to introducing a direct investment vehicle in Zcash.
The proposed ZCH fund would replace Grayscale's existing Zcash Trust and come with an annual fee of 2.5%. The trust is currently managing over $260 million in assets, accumulated since its inception in 2017.
Grayscale intends to list the ETF on NYSE Arca, with Bank of New York Mellon serving as the transfer agent and Coinbase Custody Trust Company holding the Zcash assets in custody. If approved, it would be the first U.S. ETF offering exposure to ZCH.
