Grayscale Launches World's First Zcash ETF on NYSE Arca
The world's first Zcash ETF, dubbed 'The Zcash ETF', has begun trading on the NYSE Arca exchange. The fund is offered by Grayscale and allows investors to gain exposure to ZEC, the native token of the Zcash network.
The ticker symbol for the new ETF is ZCSH, which offers a 2.5% annual sponsorship fee. As of August 25, the net asset value (NAV) for one share of ZCSH was $63.07, approximately ¥1 million.
Grayscale announced that it had submitted registration documents to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on August 18, with a fourth amendment to its Form S-3/A. The company also filed an 8-K form on August 21, stating that it planned to begin trading ZCSH on NYSE Arca around August 25, pending regulatory approval.
