The Grayscale Zcash ETF (Ticker: ZCSH) has been listed on NYSE Arca, marking the first time a US-based exchange-traded fund provides spot access to Zcash (ZEC), a privacy-oriented cryptocurrency.

The introduction of this fund allows investors to trade ZEC through regular brokerage accounts without needing regulated products. This development comes as institutions are increasingly looking at spot ETFs as a way to accumulate holdings in major cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ether.

The price of ZEC reached an eight-year high of $880 before the listing, but has since dropped to $784 according to CoinMarketCap. The cryptocurrency's market capitalization stands at $13.2 billion, making it the 11th largest by this metric.
