Grayscale Predicts $8,100 Zcash Price Target Amid Bullish Analysis
Grayscale Research has published a bullish analysis of Zcash (ZEC), predicting its price could reach $8,100 within five years if it captures 10% of Bitcoin's market cap.
The study suggests that a 2% market share gain alone could push ZEC above $1,622. This prediction is based on the assumption that Zcash will continue to attract investors due to its strong privacy features and ongoing development to guard against quantum computing risks.
Grayscale launched its first spot Zcash ETF (ZCSH) on NYSE Arca on August 25, with a $14.8 million opening day volume. The fund closed its debut session down 1.54% at $63.10 after being up over 3.5% intraday.
ZEC's price has already climbed nearly 70% over recent weeks and around 350% year-to-date, despite trading at less than 1% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization.
