Grayscale Transfers Large Sum of Bitcoin to Institutional Exchange

Grayscale, one of the largest digital asset managers, has moved $35.9 million worth of Bitcoin and approximately $391,000 in Chainlink to Coinbase Prime.

The transfer, detected on-chain by Onchain Lens, consists of 572.9 BTC and 44,320 LINK tokens.

Coinbase Prime is a prime brokerage platform designed for institutional investors, offering custody, trading, and financing services.

This distinction means the transfer could serve multiple purposes beyond liquidation, including collateral management, over-the-counter (OTC) trading, or internal rebalancing.
