Grayscale Unleashes First Zcash ETF Amid Token's Eight-Year Price Surge

Grayscale has launched its first-ever Zcash ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund), just days after the token's price reached an eight-year high of $867. The new fund, trading under the ticker ZCSH on NYSE Arca, is a conversion of the existing Grayscale Zcash Trust.

Instead of holding ZEC themselves, investors can now buy ETF shares through traditional brokerage accounts. This marks another step in Grayscale's efforts to make its crypto trusts more accessible to mainstream investors.

The token's price has been on a tear recently, with some slowing down since the ETF launch. However, futures open interest went up to above $1.2 billion, and funding rates remain positive, indicating continued bullish positioning.
