Grayscale has withdrawn its registration statements for three proposed altcoin funds, ending plans to list Cardano (ADA), Hedera (HBAR), and Polkadot (DOT) ETFs.

The withdrawals were announced on August 7, 2026, after nearly a year of registration. The SEC accepted the filings within minutes, but Grayscale voluntarily withdrew them before any shares were issued or distributed.

The documents do not provide a reason for the withdrawal, and market prices weakened following the news, with ADA, HBAR, and DOT falling by around 2% each.
