Grayscale: Zcash Has Features Bitcoin Lacks and Room for Growth
Grayscale Research recently released a report stating that Zcash (ZEC) has a legitimate chance of capturing a significant share of Bitcoin's (BTC) market. According to Grayscale, Zcash possesses three features that Bitcoin lacks.
The first feature is financial privacy, which becomes increasingly important in the era of AI-powered surveillance. The second feature is the ability of Zcash developers to address cybersecurity risks, including future quantum threats to classical cryptography. The third feature is the 'intents' technology in modern wallets, allowing users to utilize ZEC as a private asset hub with universal connectivity.
Grayscale Research estimates that if ZEC reaches 2% or 10% of Bitcoin's market share, its price could reach $1,622 and $8,109 respectively. However, the firm emphasizes that these projections are hypothetical and illustrative, and any gains would not be linear.
