Grayscale's Chainlink ETF Slumps as LINK Token Price Plummets

Grayscale's Chainlink Trust ETF (GLNK) has reported a significant decline in net assets due to a drop in the LINK token price. As of Q2 2026, the fund holds $72.2 million in net assets, down from an initial strong inflow when it launched in December 2025. The LINK token price decreased by 18% from $8.77 to $7.20, contributing to a $16.4 million unrealized loss despite stable token holdings.

The fund's annual fee remains at 0.35%, which is significantly lower than the previous private trust rate. This reduced fee has likely contributed to some investors' decisions to hold onto their Chainlink tokens through GLNK, despite the decline in price.
