Grayscale's Zcash ETF Lands on NYSE Arca with 2.5% Sponsor Fee
Grayscale's Zcash ETF, called ZCSH, has started trading on NYSE Arca. It carries a sponsor fee of 2.5% per year and offers investors exposure to Zcash (ZEC). The ETF was previously available as a private placement in October 2017 and quoted on OTCQX since October 2021.
The net asset value discount has narrowed from 17% on June 30 to 1% by August 20. Grayscale's Head of Index, Steve Vanourny, said the demand for genuine financial privacy will grow with AI reshaping monitoring of financial activity.
Foreside Fund Services is the marketing agent and Coinbase Custody Trust Company holds the fund's ZEC. DCG International Investments, a subsidiary of Grayscale's parent, may acquire shares through an authorized participant in exchange for 200,000 ZEC.
