Grayscale's Zcash ETF Plans Include Potential $110M DCG Investment
Grayscale's bid to convert its Zcash Trust into an exchange-traded fund has taken another step forward. The company submitted its fourth amendment to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, proposing to rename the trust and list its shares on NYSE Arca under the ticker 'ZCSH'.
The filing also revealed that DCG International Investments Ltd., a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group (parent company of Grayscale), is in discussions to acquire approximately 200,000 ZEC tokens. This would be worth around $110 million at current prices.
However, the potential investor may decide not to purchase any shares or could choose to buy more or fewer than the proposed amount.
