Grayscale's Zcash ETF Set for NYSE Arca as ZEC Hits 8-Year High
Grayscale's Zcash Trust is set to convert into a spot ETF under the ticker symbol ZCSH, according to recent filings. The development comes as ZEC price action reaches its highest level since 2018, with the token trading above $850.
The change will see shares move from the OTCQX marketplace to NYSE Arca, with trading expected to begin on August 25. Grayscale plans to convert its existing Zcash Trust into The Zcash ETF and has named Coinbase Custody Trust Company as custodian and The Bank of New York Mellon as transfer agent and administrator.
The proposed sponsor fee for the fund is 2.5% annually, with daily accruals payable in ZEC. Grayscale has also stated it is in talks with DCG International Investments over a potential contribution of approximately 200,000 ZEC in exchange for ETF shares, representing roughly 34% of the expanded fund.
