Greenlane Crypto Treasury Takes $53.8M Hit as BERA Price Falls

Share

Greenlane Holdings' crypto treasury took a significant hit in Q2. As of June 30, its BERA holdings were valued at $16.4 million, down from the original cost basis of $70 million.

The company reported a noncash valuation loss of $19.1 million on its digital assets during the quarter, contributing to a net loss of $24.8 million for Q2.

Despite the falling token price, Greenlane continued to add to its BERA holdings, increasing its count from 77.7 million at the end of March to 81.3 million by the end of June.

The segment generated $309,000 in staking and yield revenue during the quarter, a small offset to the larger valuation loss.
