In the world of video games, developers often go to great lengths to create believable and appetizing food. However, some games take this concept to a whole new level by featuring disgustingly gross virtual foods.

One such example is Fallout's 'Giant Radroaches,' which are irradiated roaches that can be cooked over a campfire to provide nutrition while also increasing radiation levels. Another game, Final Fantasy 15, features a Moist Tomato Cake made from a single killer tomato and garnished with more tomato.

Death Stranding's Cryptobiotes are squirming alien creatures that can be eaten raw straight out of the ground, providing an immediate stamina boost. In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the character Mythra has a reputation for terrible cooking, including a recipe called 'The Literally Killer Tart' made from cicadas, scorpions, and a 'munchygrub.'

Other games like Castlevania feature mysterious wall meat, embedded directly in dungeon walls with no explanation as to its origin. Vampire Survivors takes it even further with 'Floor Chicken,' a whole roast chicken that appears out of nowhere on the ground.
