GTA 6 Leaker Ends Crypto Grift After Raking in $250,000

Share

Cyberleek, the person or group behind the GTA 6 leaks, has seemingly ended their crypto grift after raking in $250,000. According to an investigation by Vice Cit on the GTA Forum, Cyberleek transferred this amount into different separate wallets across four transactions on August 27.

This activity is not a rug pull, but rather a pump and dump, where Cyberleek burned 270 million reserve coins to stoke trader trust and let the coin continue accruing transaction fees. This move contributed to the coin's price explosion in the last few days, with crypto whales being given confidence to trade the coin.

The most recent GTA 6 leak clip showed over four minutes of the prologue story for female protagonist Lucia, but this may be Cyberleek's final attempt at leaking information. As everyone waits for the GTA 6 extended look today, it is possible that Cyberleek has anticipated a decline in interest and trading volume as Rockstar's Netflix reveal steers the conversation away from leaks.
