GTA VI Leaker Cashes Out $350K in Crypto Through Decentralized Exchange Pool
The GTA VI leaker has reportedly made over $350,000 in cryptocurrency, primarily through liquidity provider fees. According to on-chain analyst Conor Grogan, the funds were generated after unauthorized footage from the game drove attention towards the CYBERLEEK memecoin.
Grogan's analysis found that the CYBERLEEK operator profited from the structure of a decentralized exchange pool, where traders pay fees to liquidity providers. Each release of leaked material attracted more attention and trading volume, resulting in additional fees for the wallet supplying liquidity.
The leaker used over-the-counter (OTC) providers to wash the funds through several transactions, making it difficult to track the origin of the money. This method does not necessarily imply money laundering, as OTC providers can facilitate direct asset trades without routing them through public exchanges.
