GTA6 Leaker's Crypto Token Scandal Sparks Concerns Over Game Files Leak
A GTA6 leaker, known as CyberLeek, has been making waves in the gaming community by releasing leaked game files and gameplay clips. The alleged reason for the leak was to support gamers' preference for physical media over digital copies, but the leaker also promoted their crypto tokens in the process.
The leaked content included clips of Jason playing basketball, driving a car, and engaging in various other activities within the game. One clip even showed an aerial view of Vice City, sparking concerns about the legitimacy of the leak.
According to a user on GTAForums, the leaker has made around $50K from transactions related to their crypto tokens. The group reportedly has around $400K worth of unsold tokens, which have been tracked to a KuCoin platform wallet.
The situation is still unfolding, with authorities potentially subpoenaing KuCoin for more information about the account holder and transactions. Rockstar Games has yet to make any public statements regarding the leak or its potential impact on the game's release date.
