Gyndore Unveils Public Testnet on Base Sepolia
Gyndore has launched its public testnet, allowing users to try out its protocol on Base Sepolia without risking real-world assets. The testnet is designed to gauge how the application behaves with real users before a mainnet launch.
Gyndore aims to be the Bitcoin liquidity hub of Base, Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2 network. It plans to bring borrowing, trading, and yield opportunities together in one Bitcoin-focused DeFi system. The protocol will use cbBTC as collateral for borrowing, with users able to access dedicated markets rather than relying on general-purpose decentralized exchanges.
The testnet currently includes features such as swaps, concentrated-liquidity pools, market-creation tools, GYND and bGYND staking, and a Portfolio page. However, not all planned features are available yet, including borrowing and gynUSD functionality.
