H100 Group Reports $26M H1 Loss Due to Falling Bitcoin Value
H100 Group, a Sweden-listed health-tech and Bitcoin treasury company, reported significant losses in its interim report for the first half of 2026. The pre-tax loss for the second quarter was 98 million Swedish kronor ($10.3 million), while the loss for the first half of the year was 253 million kronor.
The company's operating income remained flat at 3 million kronor in Q2, compared to the same period last year, but did see an increase to 6.1 million kronor for H1 2026, up from 5.8 million kronor in H1 2025.
The main contributor to the loss was a non-cash write-down attributed to the decline in Bitcoin's value during the period. This is notable as H100 Group became Europe's second-largest Bitcoin treasury company earlier in August, after acquiring two smaller Norwegian Bitcoin treasury firms and their cryptocurrency holdings.
H100 Group's share price has also been affected, falling 4.2% on Tuesday, extending its 24% year-to-date decline.
