H100 Snaps Up $154M in BTC as Active Addresses Plummet
H100 Group made a significant move in the Bitcoin market by purchasing 2,455.37 BTC for $154.44 million, taking its total holdings to 3,506.4 BTC.
The purchase brings H100's average cost per coin down to $62,900, which is lower than its overall average purchase price of $78,399.
This large transaction has caught the attention of market observers and analysts, but it does not guarantee a rise in Bitcoin prices. The company's plans for future purchases remain unknown.
Meanwhile, other data indicates weaker activity across the Bitcoin network. Active addresses have fallen to levels last seen around 2018 and 2019, with the 30-day exponential moving average reaching 609,688 on July 19, 2026, compared to 570,710 in July 2018.
The CME hedge funds have also shifted their positioning on Bitcoin futures, flipping from net short to net long. This is a rare move that suggests some large traders are now betting on higher prices for BTC.
