Hsin-Ju, a former partner at Hack VC and head of the platform, has refused to settle a dispute and plans to publicly release evidence of alleged threats and retaliation during her time at the firm. Hsin-Ju, with nine years of experience in the crypto industry, including stints at Stellar, Solana, and Fhenix, claims she was forced to continue working excessively after requesting leave due to severe medical conditions, including Graves' disease and hyperthyroidism.

According to Hsin-Ju, Hack VC partners threatened to blacklist her from the industry if she left before completing certain meetings. She attempted to take a leave of absence but was pressured into staying on until she eventually made a suicide attempt. After recovering, Hsin-Ju wrote a letter stating she had no intention of pursuing litigation and simply wanted to exit the firm quietly.

However, Hack VC's COBRA health insurance issues persisted for nearly four months before being resolved after intervention from her lawyer. Despite this, the firm continued to try to harm her interests through legal means. Hsin-Ju has chosen not to settle with a payment in exchange for silence and instead plans to publicly release all evidence on August 26.

Hsin-Ju emphasizes that she had excellent performance while at Hack VC, receiving raises and bonuses, and that the lawsuit is not motivated by financial gain. She acknowledges the potential risks of facing a $6-7 billion institution in court.
