Hacker Accumulates $46.5M in Ethereum in 24 Hours
A hacker has accumulated over $46.5 million in Ethereum (ETH) in just 24 hours, according to on-chain data from analyst EmberCN.
The hacker purchased an additional 3,386 ETH worth approximately $7.95 million, bringing their total accumulation to 21,659 ETH valued at $46.49 million since yesterday.
The transactions have been traced back to wallets previously flagged in connection with a major security breach, although the exact source of the funds has not been officially confirmed.
Security experts note that hackers often use mixers or decentralized exchanges to further obscure the flow of funds, making it harder for authorities to freeze or seize assets. The transparency of the Ethereum blockchain allows analysts to track these movements in real time, providing valuable intelligence for investigations.
