Hargreaves Lansdown Joins Crypto Investment Platform

Hargreaves Lansdown, a UK-based investment platform, has started offering cryptocurrency exchange-traded notes (ETNs) nearly a year after the ban on such products was lifted. The move comes as demand for crypto investments continues to grow.

The FT reports that Hargreaves Lansdown will offer ETNs from several issuers, including Invesco and UBS. This marks a significant development in the UK's financial sector, which has been slow to adopt crypto investments.

It is worth noting that the ban on cryptocurrency-based products was lifted by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in April 2021. Since then, several investment platforms have started offering crypto-related services.
