HashKey Eyes Apex Acquisition for Asian Expansion

APE KDA APEX DAG

HashKey Holdings, a comprehensive digital assets group in Asia, is considering acquiring all shares of Apex (APEX), a derivatives exchange in Singapore.

The agreement was signed on July 22 by HashKey's Singapore subsidiary HKDAG and the majority shareholder Zhu Yuchen, who indirectly holds 50.925% of APEX shares.

No formal contract has been finalized yet, nor has approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) been granted, leaving the deal uncertain for now.

HashKey aims to strengthen its market presence in Asia and expand its regulatory foundation by acquiring APEX. If successful, the acquisition will allow HashKey to enhance its trading execution and settlement infrastructure for institutional investors.
