HashKey On-Chain and ONERWAY Unite for Stablecoin-Powered Cross-Border Payments
HashKey On-Chain and ONERWAY have formed a strategic partnership to facilitate on-chain payments and cross-border commerce. The collaboration combines stablecoin settlement with traditional fiat payment infrastructure.
HSP, HashKey On-Chain's settlement protocol, manages and processes on-chain transactions. ONERWAY is a cross-border payment provider serving over 2,000 merchants worldwide, operating licensed payment channels across several major markets.
The partnership will enable ONERWAY merchants to use stablecoins for settlement, which are then converted into local fiat currencies. This solution helps businesses pay suppliers, salaries, and other expenses while meeting local reporting requirements.
HSP uses a Master Account system to aggregate and distribute on-chain funds, verifying and recording transactions in the process. HashKey Group's licensed entities provide custody and OTC services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
