HashKey Seeks to Acquire Singapore Exchange Operator APEX

HashKey Holdings, Hong Kong's largest licensed crypto exchange, is seeking to acquire Singapore-based Asia Pacific Exchange (APEX) in a move to expand its regulated financial market infrastructure footprint in Asia.

The proposed deal involves HashKey's wholly owned subsidiary, HKDAG (Singapore) Pte Ltd, signing a non-binding framework agreement with APEX and its major shareholder regarding the acquisition of the exchange operator's entire equity interest.

The proposed transaction is subject to the execution of definitive agreements, completion of due diligence, and approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
