Hayes Bets Big on Ethereum, Sees Triple to Quintuple Value Potential

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes is bullish on Ethereum (ETH), calling it his 'number one pick' in crypto. Speaking in an interview, Hayes said ETH could surge 3 to 5 times its current value 'pretty quickly', citing the token's prolonged underperformance and relative undervaluation.

Hayes noted that Ethereum has not surpassed its 2021 all-time high, which he believes sets the stage for a comeback. He also pointed out that Ethereum offers a better risk-reward setup than Hyperliquid (HYPE), despite HYPE's strong gains in recent months.

In addition to his ETH call, Hayes reiterated his prediction from last month that Bitcoin could reach $1 million in the next four years, citing potential for massive money printing and U.S. yield-curve control.
